Adjunct Professor

american university, CAS: Graphic design program 2024

My inaugural semester, I taught an intro to web design course at American University in the Spring 2024. I approached my role with deep enthusiasm for imparting knowledge and fostering student growth. Throughout the semester, I diligently crafted class materials, from informative presentations to engaging lectures. Outside of class I spent my time reviewing and assessing assignments, and providing constructive feedback to guide my students' learning journey through thoughtful critique. I made myself available during both in-person classes and virtual office hours, ensuring that students had the support they needed to succeed. Looking ahead, I am eager to continue honing my teaching skills and inspiring students in future semesters.

It was a privilege to witness the growth and success of each student as they navigated their academic journey and emerge as skilled professionals in their field.

SET Survey results

The Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) survey offers students the chance to provide valuable feedback to their professors. With honest and constructive responses from students, educators can gain insight into their teaching effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments to better support student learning outcomes.

Presentations & Materials

As an educator dedicated to fostering student learning and creativity, I created lectures, presentation materials, and project resources designed to inspire and guide students to help them excel academically. These materials were thoughtfully crafted to provide a strong educational foundation and nurture students' ability to produce their best work.

sample Syllabus

Here is a sample syllabus that served as a foundational guide for the course I taught in Spring 2024. For my first semester teaching I was given a syllabus to teach from that can be viewed below. I have also been working on a syllabus for a proposed course, contact me if you are interested in learning more.
