Projects
In my time at Amtrak I worked on many different projects. I became lead designer of the Mobile Application, Conductor Application, Service 360 (an internal scheduling tool for trains), Payment, Multi-Ride Check In, Multi-Segment Bookings, Profile, Schedules, Confirmation, Covid Changes, Modify, and the Style Guide. I assisted in other pages including other sections of the booking flow, UI for our Kiosk, and more. I began my time at Amtrak as an intern and converted to a full time role and eventually lead designer post graduation.
While my main role surrounded design delivery I worked with: product to create stories and manage sprints, tech to create a component library for FE development, and to hand off annotated designs and interactions, and with the testing team on developing and executing visual QA on all designs before they launched into production. In my role on the team I mentored 6 interns, ran our daily team stand up, led communication with multiple product managers, created status reporting structures for our team, refined our JIRA process, and assisted in roadmapping all upcoming design work.
